Agent storefronts

Agent storefronts give independent agents a page they can share with their customers. Property photos, details and availability come from your live ShortletBox records, so an agent does not need to keep a separate archive.

The page belongs to the agent relationship. It shows the agent’s contact details and sends every booking enquiry to that agent on WhatsApp. Your workspace identity, contact details, public booking-site link and prices stay off the page.

Only owners and admins can manage agents.

  1. Open Agents under Operations, then choose Add agent.
  2. Enter the agent’s name, email address and Nigerian phone number. The public WhatsApp button uses this number.
  3. Select the active properties the agent may market.
  4. Enter a private nightly rate for each selected property.
  5. Choose Add agent.

Open the saved agent to copy or visit their storefront URL. The URL contains random credentials rather than your workspace or property slug. It is not listed in search engines, but anyone who receives it can open it, so share it as you would any private customer link.

The portfolio shows only properties assigned to that agent that are still published and available on your booking site. Each card reads from the source property, including its current cover photo, location, capacity and minimum stay.

Customers can:

  • browse the current photo gallery, description and amenities;
  • check whether a date range is available;
  • email or call the agent; and
  • choose Book on WhatsApp to start a conversation with the agent.

The page does not display your organisation name, contact details, public booking URL, public nightly price or the agent’s private rate. It also does not take payment or create a booking.

When the agent confirms the guest’s details, open the agent and choose Create booking for this agent. You can also open Add booking and select the agent there.

Selecting an agent limits the property list to that agent’s assignments and uses the assignment’s private nightly rate. The rate is fixed for that booking, and coupons and length-of-stay discounts do not stack on top of it. The property’s deposit rules still apply.

The saved booking keeps its agent attribution and agreed rate even if you later change or remove the assignment.

  • Edit the agent to change contact details, assigned properties or future private rates.
  • Remove an assignment to take that property off the storefront immediately. Existing bookings are unchanged.
  • Pause storefront to make every link for that agent unavailable. Reactivate it to restore the same URL.

Archived or unpublished properties do not appear on the storefront. If a property is missing, check its assignment, publication status and the workspace’s public-booking setting.
